Yes, my brother Steve and I along with longtime Iron Bridge manager Nate opened Mutiny Pirate Bar in November of 2011. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your visit with us. While we always hope to get 5 stars, we appreciate constructive criticism and always use it an opportunity to get better. Knowing the other two restaurants, we just expected more.Īnna, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Mutiny might be a good place to stop by for a drink if you live on "The Point," but I wouldn't recommend it for a meal. We expected to see more seafood on the menu, and would prefer more items that weren't deep fried. The rest of our group was underwhelmed with their food. The shrimp was good, but the salad was almost tasteless. Afterward, my salad was delivered without the shrimp. Our crab soup was tasty, but barely lukewarm, and they took a while to bring it back hot. There were plenty of people in the bar area, but only three groups eating. The appearance of the bar and restaurant are the best thing about Mutiny - attractive and clean. So we went inside, which was dark on a beautiful sunny afternoon - we could have used a flashlight to see the menu. However, if you sit on the deck, you will mostly see people's backyards and the parking lot. I imagined sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Since Mutiny is minutes away from my childhood home, four of us were up for an adventure when we were in the area. But Mutiny Pirate Bar was opened by the same guys who run two successful restaurants in Howard County - Iron Bridge and Elkridge Furnace Inn. Usually, I wouldn't consider eating in a pirate-themed restaurant.
